Avalon Funeral Plans has joined Golden Leaves Funeral Plans, to create one of the largest independent, UK regulated funeral plan providers across the UK and Europe.
What does this mean for Avalon Plan Holders?
There is no impact on your plan, your payments, or the service you receive. The plans are still currently held and will be carried out by Avalon. The regulated entity, all contracts, benefits, and terms remain the same. You do not need to do anything.
Avalon plan holders remain protected and there are currently no changes to their plans. Avalon plan funds continue to be held in a separate, independently managed trust, governed by trust law and monitored in line with the FCA’s strict rules. This ensures the money to deliver your plan is ring-fenced, professionally managed, and legally protected.
Is Avalon closing down?
No. Avalon remains fully operational. The change in ownership simply means that we are now part of a larger, stronger group that shares our values and customer focus.
Will my payments or direct debit change?
No, not at this stage. All payment arrangements remain exactly as they are now. You do not need to take any action, and we will notify you if this changes.
