Avalon Funeral Plans do not provide personal recommendations, so you should be aware that you are responsible for deciding whether the funeral plan you choose will meet your demands and needs.

If you have paid for your funeral plan in full, you can cancel your plan within 30 days of the receipt of your Welcome Pack with no cancellation fee. If you cancel after 30 days following receipt of your Welcome Pack, we will refund all monies paid into the plan, less the cancellation fee. If your plan is paid by instalments, you can cancel within 12 months in the UK/18 months in Europe of the receipt of your Welcome Pack with no cancellation fee.
If you cancel after this period following receipt of your Welcome Pack, we will refund all monies paid into the plan, less the cancellation fee. If we or you cancel your plan outside of the moratorium period, we will retain 50% of the instalment charge you have paid in addition to the cancellation fee. - Unattended cremation at an appointed crematorium
- Cremation fee
- Appointed Funeral Director attending to all the necessary arrangements for the unattended cremation
- Collection and transportation of the deceased from a place of residence, a care home, hospital or resting place in mainland Spain to a mortuary within mainland Spain. Note: in some cases, this may be several hundred kilometres away
- Preparation and care of the deceased at the allocated mortuary (including full hygienic treatment and removal of pacemaker, where required)
- Supply of a simple coffin – suitable for cremation

- Costs for any mortuary storage
- Choice of date, time or location of the cremation
- Any transportation of mourners
- A wake, including the costs associated with catering for the funeral guests
- Any obituary notices
- Flowers, floral tributes, or any items requested in celebration of the deceased
- Interment of ashes
- Headstone, memorials, plaques or associated costs for erection or maintenance thereof
- Gifts including charitable donations
- Repatriation from outside Spain
- Transfer to or from mainland Spain, the Canary Islands or Balearic Islands
- Any disbursement allowances other than those listed in the inclusions
- Audio or visual equipment
- Travel or transport costs
