Avalon was founded in 1990 by financial expert Mike Cooper and his wife Clare with the vision to create a unique, transparent and affordable funeral plan that had never existed before – one that customers knew they could trust.
Despite Mike’s vast knowledge of the financial industry, the now leading funeral plan provider took four painstaking years of careful planning to set up. Two decades on, the highly successful, independent company has over 70 valued and fully trained members of staff and offers a free home advisory service to ensure the utmost in choice and flexibility.
In addition to the head office in Wilmslow, Cheshire, Avalon has a thriving office in Spain and a growing customer base in Turkey and Cyprus. Avalon ensures it gives back to the community, sponsoring various charity initiatives and benefiting the causes its customers care about most.
With its wide range of value-for-money funeral plans, Avalon has helped over 25,000 satisfied customers in the past ten years alone.
